Serving Businesses Since 1957

Navigata began as the telecommunications division of BC Rail over fifty years ago. It was established as a commercial operation in 1993 to take advantage of the de-regulation of the long distance market. Together with SaskTel, the two companies have a combined history of over 150 years in telecommunications – a testament to our stability and adaptability.

Our Network

Navigata owns over 2,500 km of network in British Columbia, and operates a high speed cross-country backbone that connects Victoria to Halifax, and major centres in between. Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) monitors every customer circuit and the backbone to achieve network uptime that’s the envy of the industry. In 1997 the company earned the prestigious Cisco Powered Network™ designation.
